We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Project Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a highly visible role, partnering with operational and delivery leaders to provide commercial insight, strengthen forecasting accuracy, and drive business performance.
You will play a key role in ensuring the financial and commercial integrity of our projects, supporting decision-making through robust forecasting, billing, contract management, and business planning activities.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will help identify risks and opportunities, improve commercial performance, and ensure contractual and financial obligations are effectively managed.
This role offers flexibility to be based from our Altrincham Office (Manchester) where you’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team environment, supported by our hybrid working approach.
Requirements
Commercial Business Partnering
Facilitate monthly commercial review meetings with key stakeholders to improve forecast quality, commercial decision-making, and business performance.
Provide commercial insight and challenge to support effective business decisions and maximise project profitability.
Represent Finance in client and engagement meetings, acting as a trusted commercial adviser to delivery and operational teams.
Build strong working relationships across the business, including client counterparts and third-party partners where appropriate.
Forecasting & Business Planning
Lead the assurance of business pipeline and revenue forecasts, ensuring information is accurate, reliable and supports strategic decision-making.
