Climbing Wall Supervisor

Edinburgh Sport is looking for a Climbing Wall Supervisor (UoE Grade 4) to supervise the University's Tower Climbing Wall and Rock Bouldering area. Reporting to the Climbing Wall Team Leader, you will keep the wall safe and welcoming for a community. Key duties include carrying out floor walks and stepping in when safety is at risk, leading rescues when needed, welcoming and registering members, managing equipment hire and sales, and completing daily equipment and safety checks. The role also involves running courses that teach new climbers to climb and belay safely, and setting fresh, challenging routes and problems. The ideal candidate is an active, enthusiastic climber with excellent people skills and customer service experience, and holds (or is willing to gain) a Climbing Wall Instructor or Rock Climbing Instructor qualification. This role requires PVG Scheme registration.
