QUALIFICATIONS: Although, Individual are encouraged to apply, the Ideal candidate with the following experience will only be considered.
Requirements for Security Program Protection Specialist Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Engineering, Intelligence Studies, Security Management, or a related discipline
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience supporting Information Security, Program Protection, Research Security, or National Security programs
Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and implementing security programs supporting Research & Development organizations
Preferred Qualifications Master's or Ph.D. in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Engineering, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, National Security, or related field
Experience supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)
Experience supporting Intelligence Community research organizations
Experience protecting emerging cloud technologies and advanced cyber capabilities
Professional security certifications such as:
Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC)
Security Program Integration Professional Certificate (SPIPC)
Special Program Security Certification (SPSC)
CISSP
CISM
Security+
Research & Technology Protection (RTP)
Program Protection Planning (PPP)
Security Risk Management
Security Classification Management
Critical Program Information (CPI)
Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
Experience conducting enterprise security risk assessments for advanced research initiatives
Experience protecting classified and sensitive government technologies throughout the acquisition and development lifecycle
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles supporting classified cloud and hybrid computing environments
Experience supporting security compliance within Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) organizations
Ability to prepare technical security documentation, assessments, reports, and executive briefings
Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively with executive leadership, engineers, researchers, intelligence professionals, and government customers
Working Knowledge of:
