Here,  your career can truly take flight.  Job Summary Southwest’s DevOps Tooling & Pipelines Pod builds and runs the platforms that help teams create, secure, store, and deploy software. Its enterprise services include Nexus Repository, SonarQube, Amazon ECR, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native deployment platforms, and automation that accelerates delivery while strengthening software supply chain controls. As Cloud DevOps Engineer, you’ll help build and support secure, reusable platform capabilities across Git-based or Jenkins pipelines, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes or ECS, and Infrastructure as Code. You’ll contribute to automated quality gates, vulnerability and secrets management, access controls, developer self-service, and reliable platform operations. Along the way, you’ll develop hands-on experience solving observability, performance, availability, and deployment challenges that directly affect engineering teams across Southwest. Design and build enterprise cloud infrastructure automation, pipeline automation and cloud capabilities used by the enterprise. Partner with application, security, and architecture teams to build re-usable and secure cloud infrastructure to be used by business applications. Knowledge of cloud computing industry trends and apply that knowledge to continually innovate and evolve the enterprise cloud platform.
