During this tenure with Standard Chartered, he held key positions like Country Head of Risk, Country Head of Retail Banking, and Head of Digital Banking for ASEAN and South Asia. About the role This role will be responsible for managing on-ground collections operations, driving execution efficiency, and ensuring adherence to processes and compliance standards. This role requires close supervision of field teams, strong operational control, and the ability to manage daily collections activities effectively. Key Responsibilities 1. Collections Operations & Bucket Management Manage and control bucket flow cases with a strong focus on non-starter accounts. Monitor daily collections activities and ensure timely resolution of assigned cases. Drive consistent follow-ups to improve recovery rates and reduce delinquency. 2. Field Force Management (Feet-on-Street) Ensure adequate availability of field collection executives across areas, buckets, and customer segments. Allocate cases effectively to maximize coverage and productivity. Conduct regular field reviews and monitor on-ground execution. 3. Performance Monitoring & Productivity Define productivity parameters for collection executives and monitor performance against targets. Conduct daily reviews with team members to track progress and address gaps. Continuously evaluate performance and take corrective actions where required. 4. Compliance & Process Adherence Ensure all activities comply with legal guidelines, internal policies, and audit requirements. Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely updates on systems (e.g., Fincollect App). Address audit queries and ensure closure within defined timelines. 5. Team Hiring, Training & Development Support hiring by conducting background and reference checks for collection executives. Identify training needs and facilitate skill development programs.
