What You'll Do
As a Commercial Construction Project Manager, you'll oversee multiple commercial construction projects while partnering closely with field leadership, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout
Develop and maintain project schedules while proactively managing critical path activities
Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract documents
Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), change orders, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements
Monitor project budgets, forecasting, job costs, and financial performance throughout each project
Lead owner, architect, engineer, and subcontractor coordination meetings
Build strong working relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and field personnel
Coordinate project logistics, procurement, and scheduling to keep projects moving efficiently
Oversee project quality control, commissioning activities, punch lists, as-built drawings, and closeout documentation
Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams to ensure smooth project transitions
Ensure OSHA safety standards and company safety expectations are consistently met
Visit active job sites regularly to support field teams and maintain project progress
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
Experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and job cost management
