Complex Needs Classroom Assistant – Tower Hamlets Location: Tower Hamlets Contract: Temporary Pay: £100–£130 per day PAYE The opportunity Senovo is recruiting a Complex Needs Classroom Assistant for a specialist SEN education setting in Tower Hamlets. The successful candidate will join a committed team focused on helping children and young people access learning, develop confidence and make meaningful progress. Key responsibilities Provide consistent classroom, one-to-one or small-group support. Follow EHCPs, learning plans and strategies agreed by teaching and SEN staff. Adapt resources and communication so pupils can participate and progress. Support positive behaviour, emotional regulation, independence and wellbeing. Share clear observations with teachers, therapists and pastoral colleagues. What we are looking for Relevant experience with children or young people in education, SEN, care, therapy, youth or community settings. Patience, reliability, professional boundaries and strong communication. A practical understanding of safeguarding and inclusive support. Useful experience includes classroom support, communication support, Complex needs support, personal care, safeguarding. QTS is not required for this support role.
