About the role:
Joining our Networks Operations team, this role is responsible for the installation and maintenance of network and optical equipment, while managing day-to-day fibre patching to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
You’ll support carrier partners in establishing and maintaining their presence within our facilities, contributing to reliable connectivity and strong stakeholder relationships.
Other responsibilities include:
Maintain and monitor fibre optic and network equipment, responding to alarms and alerts using monitoring tools.
Provide expert connectivity advice and support to internal and external stakeholders, including fault finding assistance.
Perform preventative maintenance and act as a Subject Matter Expert across data centre operations.
Manage and update network topology, asset records, and configuration data for all networking equipment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and service providers.
Work independently and collaboratively across regions, occasionally outside normal business hours.
Represent the company professionally in meetings, committees, and stakeholder engagements.
