ABOUT US: ISAT Total Support /Tomarco is a leading provider of seismic engineering consulting services and the related products and hardware used for nonstructural seismic bracing and the support of Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping systems. Our focus is geared toward building utility systems within the commercial and industrial construction markets. Our primary focus includes but is not limited to, HVAC, mechanical, piping, distributed electrical systems, plumbing, process piping & fire protection contractors. Headquartered in Southern California, ISAT also has offices in Northern California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Georgia, North Carolina, Chicago, Atlanta, New Zealand, New York, Texas, and Puerto Rico. Additional expansion is expected. SUMMARY AND PURPOSE: As an Assistant Project Manager , you’ll work closely with a Project Manager mentor, supporting various project tasks, including customer billing, modeling, coordination, point loads, and custom engineering. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional eager to develop project management skills through hands-on experience and mentorship. You’ll gain exposure to essential functions in project coordination, documentation, communication, and technical support, building a foundation for future project management opportunities. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION Manage smaller projects under direct guidance from a mentor, with all work reviewed. Input all hours in billing tracking software (Nexus) for project, administrative, or personal leave. Communicate effectively on project tasks and follow up after coordination meetings; document all communication electronically and share with the mentor PM. Maintain organized project file folders, following company file structure standards. Build basic submittals using TDLF/SDF and structural deck information, in hard or soft formats. Create bracing legends for projects in line with CBC, IBC, and UFC standards. Perform seismic bracing layouts with guidance, following the ISAT Seismic Bracing manual.
