As a Project Manager, you will oversee construction projects ranging from $500,000 to $50 million, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance. What You'll Do:
Prioritize safe work planning and partner with site safety leaders to identify and correct hazards
Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and lead consistent owner’s coordination and reporting meetings
Establish and maintain the project plan and schedule, setting objectives and performance standards, and monitoring compliance
Prioritize effective and continuous communication across client representatives, A-E representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams
Manage financial aspects of the project, including projections, invoice processing, cash flow, profitability, self-perform and subcontractor costs, and ensure alignment with the budget while avoiding scope gaps
Ensure compliance with applicable Labor Agreements
Coordinate and oversee weekly subcontractor meetings
Estimate, price, submit, and negotiate accurate subcontracts and change orders
Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep the project aligned with the plan
Plan and manage effective project closeout, ensuring an expeditious and quality handover process
What You'll Bring:
Ability to communicate professionally verbally and written with the ability to lead teams and resolve conflict
Self-motivated leader with a passion for mentoring and developing teams
Highly organized with strong planning and analytical skills and expert attention to detail
An ability to manage all aspects of a project, including technical, safety, schedule, cost, and financial responsibility
Proficiency with scheduling and construction software such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, Autodesk Build, and Viewpoint Vista software
Experience in the automotive sector is preferred
Experience in heavy civil construction is preferred but not required
Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-related field or Construction Management is required
7+ years of experience in heavy industrial project management
