As the Contract Specialist (R&D Procurement)-1 in Procurement you will work collaboratively with business owners across the world and other Procurement colleagues based in regions. The successful candidate will develop solutions to facilitate faster delivery for business owners, lead departmental projects, and be accountable for delivering against performance goals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, be results-oriented, and have a passion for collaborating and building relationships Key responsibilities Execute sourcing and contracting processes, while balancing risks. Negotiate and execute agreements in a timely manner under a defined category or contracting strategy. Apply legal principles in a global environment, effectively cooperate and communicating with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance or other functions) as needed. Build relationships and ensure effective communication with key internal stakeholders; understand business requirements, support non-standard workflow requests, position Procurement’s value proposition. Establish sourcing approach & benchmarking opportunities for negotiated contracts  Negotiate commercial terms of agreement ensuring best value for money Build and lead relationships with suppliers to ensure the value of the supplier-Haleon relationship is optimized. Ensure contracting activities comply with relevant regulatory standards & internal policies.
