About the Role
The Coordinator, Partnership Development provides day-to-day coordination and execution support to advance corporate partnership initiatives at Food Banks Canada. Working closely with the Manager, Partnership Development, this role supports the qualification, cultivation, and development of new partnerships across cause marketing, sponsorship, and philanthropic giving. With a background in sales or business development, the Coordinator researches and qualifies prospects, then translates those findings into polished presentations and pitch materials that open doors with prospective partners and build a healthy pipeline of donors. This is a role for a self-starter who chases down answers, works through obstacles independently, and brings creative thinking to everyday challenges. The Coordinator is at ease with technology, learns new systems quickly, and is comfortable using CRM platforms and AI-assisted tools to strengthen research, tracking, and reporting. The role also supports partner onboarding, relationship management, and CRM administration, collaborating with cross-functional teams to surface opportunities that advance fundraising and food acquisition strategies.
What You Will Be Doing
Support the execution of a proactive lead generation strategy to secure new in-kind and funding partnerships, including diversifying the partner base through new industry segments and growing base-level funders.
Assist with developing prospect research profiles and assist with presenting and promoting business initiatives and opportunities to new audiences and partners, through presentations, briefings and reports to create a pipeline of new partners/donors for Food Banks Canada
Work with senior leadership and internal cross-functional teams to support the identification of partnership opportunities
