We are currently seeking a Coordinator - Scripted Programming to join our Original Programming team in our Santa Monica, CA location.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizes, tracks, and maintains creative deliverables for the executives’ shows (outlines, scripts, notes, submissions, reels, samples, etc.)
Schedules all meetings associated with AMC Studios/deals/shows as well as operates as the clearinghouse to facilitate meetings between internal departments and creative teams
Manages staffing grids
Manages director grids
Coordinates all show associated travel for executives
Coordinates with EPs to get approved creative materials to share with internal departments to provide awareness about the creative specifics of the shows
Coordinates and streamlines S&P feedback between S&P and the shows (when applicable)
Coordinates with EPs to get approved metadata (when applicable)
Organizes and tracks incoming submissions, status reports, potential IP, etc.
Schedules meetings between deals and studio
Provides script coverage and gives feedback on submissions and samples
Maintains close and highly responsive relationship to day-to-day activities of the executives.
Tactfully handles inquiries and/or refers to appropriate party
Answers and screens executives’ telephone calls and visitors
This role requires heavy calendar management for the busy executives as they schedule and maintain executives’ calendars of appointments, meetings and travel itineraries, and coordinates related arrangements
Refers routine matters to appropriate person for action and follows up to ensure completion
Anticipates and prepares meeting materials, charts and reports needed by the executives
Acts as liaison between the executives and his/her direct reports, as well as internal departments (such as business and legal affairs, publicity, and marketing) and external contacts
Coordinates activities, conducts research and ensures that requests are carried out
