What is your role?
As a Core Process Engineer, you will serve as the subject matter expert for an assigned manufacturing process.
You will be responsible for supporting the alignment, performance, capability, and continuous improvement of the assigned process. This role partners with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and other stakeholders to resolve process-related issues, improve performance, and ensure process documentation and controls remain current and effective.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the process owner and subject matter expert for the assigned process.
Lead process improvement and capability enhancement projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and overall process performance.
Monitor process performance through data analysis, statistical tools, process control methods, and root-cause analysis.
Identify and resolve process-related issues, implement corrective actions, and support the prevention of recurring problems.
Maintain and update process documentation, including work instructions, control plans, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures.
Support process validations, trials, experimental plans, and qualification activities through structured data analysis and engineering evaluation.
Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to ensure process alignment, share technical knowledge, and support manufacturing needs.
Provide technical guidance and training to operators, technicians, and junior engineers related to the assigned process.
Support audit readiness and participate in reviews of process documentation, compliance requirements, and improvement actions.
Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and provide timely technical support for production-related process challenges.
Experiences/Education - Required
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field.
2 to 5 years of experience in plant engineering, process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or an engineering support role within a manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting process improvement initiatives in a production or manufacturing setting.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify trends and determine root causes.
Knowledge of process control, statistical analysis, experimental design, capability analysis, and continuous improvement tools.
