Job Responsibilities Monitor and control business expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets and financial targets. Develop and maintain cost tracking tools, dashboards, and reports to monitor actual costs, committed expenses, accruals, and deferred costs. Prepare periodic cost reports, forecasts, and financial analyses to support business planning and decision-making. Analyze cost variances, identify potential cost inefficiencies, and provide recommendations for cost optimization and savings initiatives. Review and validate invoices, purchase commitments, and project progress claims against approved budgets and supporting documentation. Assist in budget preparation, cost estimation, and financial planning across business units. Ensure cost recognition and expenditure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable financial regulations, including IFRS 16 where relevant. Support internal and external audits by providing relevant cost reports, financial records, and supporting documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Operations, Technical, and Finance, to ensure accurate cost monitoring and reporting. Identify opportunities to improve cost control processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Cost Control, Financial Analysis, Management Accounting, or a related role. Strong understanding of budgeting, cost monitoring, financial reporting, accruals, and variance analysis. Familiarity with financial accounting standards, including IFRS 16, is an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using ERP systems or financial reporting tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
