Summary Objective The Custodian maintains a clean working environment for all staff and visitors, ensuring all areas are safe. Essential Functions Clean and sanitize entry/lobby, general office areas, break rooms, restrooms, hallways, windows, break room appliances, and polish fixtures (may assist in maintaining cleanliness of shop floor if needed) Make sure floors are mopped, washed, and vacuumed Empty trash Remove recycling materials Maintain outside walk areas, including sweeping debris and washing walkways Responsibilities may require sedentary work, including but not limited to computer operation, classroom or online training, job observations/inspections, and peer work review Work may require the operation of janitorial equipment including hoppers and/or tuggers Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Competencies Reliable Attendance Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision. Ability to read and understand inspection logs. Ethical Conduct Problem Solving Attention to Detail – Thoroughness Time Management Supervisory Responsibility This position will not have supervisory responsibility. Work Location This position will work out of our facilities in Fort Worth, TX. This position is not approved for telecommuting or working remotely. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
