POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position exists to complete the custodial responsibilities of the University Housing Residence Halls and to provide support to other University Housing and auxiliary operations. The custodian cleans a building either alone or in conjunction with other custodians and/or students and may perform a variety of tasks or only certain designated tasks depending on the assignment. Custodial tasks include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, trashing, dusting, window cleaning, carpet and floor cleaning and maintenance, and other periodic duties associated with maintaining the overall appearance and sanitation of the residence hall buildings.
