Position Description
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Representative to join our SCIENION team USA. This role is crucial in expanding our market presence and driving sales of our ultra-low volume dispensing technologies and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biotech sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of diagnostic technologies. This role will predominantly support customers across the northeast with some potential travel to our headquarters in Berlin.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the diagnostic and single cell sectors
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including laboratories, research institutions, industry and healthcare facilities.
Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing client needs and resolving enquiries promptly.
Demonstrate knowledge of SCIENION technology and services and their applications in diagnostics.
Conduct product presentations, for potential and existing customers.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities.
Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to enhance product offerings and strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in marketing, sales, or applications within the Biotech or diagnostics industry.
Strong understanding of diagnostic technologies and laboratory workflows.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
