Get Paid for What You Fix
$20.00/hr starting pay, guaranteed no matter how busy the shop gets
Earn 10% to 16% of every labor hour you bill, and each new tier pays back to hour one

Responsibilities
The Work
Same-day repairs on the lighter side of heavy-duty, in the shop and on site in our company service truck: brakes, wheel seals and bearings, air leaks and airbags, A/C and electrical, tires, forced regens, and DOT and trailer inspections. No engine teardowns. No bodywork.
Coming from automotive with some diesel experience? We'll train you at our Sweetwater shop.
Qualifications
What You Need
A valid driver's license. You'll be driving our service truck to customer sites, so this one is a must
2+ years of hands-on experience as a mechanical technician (diesel, heavy-duty, or automotive)
At least some hands-on diesel or semi-truck experience
Working knowledge of air brakes, wheel seals and bearings, and proper torque procedures
Working knowledge of A/C systems, electrical, tires, PM services, and diagnostic equipment
Able to perform inspections to FMCSA standards
Texas Commercial Inspector Certification, or the ability to get it
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
Basic computer skills for work orders
A self-starter who communicates clearly with customers and management
Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and stand, bend, or kneel for long periods
Able to work various shift schedules
What Puts You Ahead
Semi-truck and trailer repair experience
ASE certification
Experience with forced regens, heavy-duty disc brakes, and airbag suspension
Mobile or on-site fleet repair experience
Experience completing DOT inspection paperwork
