Let's talk about the role and responsibilities:
Experienced data analyst responsible for conducting assessment of data environment maturity
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to establish and communicate requirements for business intelligence, reporting and evidence-based decision-making
Identify data sources
Design and develop systems for data acquisition
Identify data quality issues
Conduct data profiling and defining data quality rules to organise data in useable formats that deliver value to the organisation
Identify critical data elements by understanding the information needs, information architecture and data flows
Determine and configure data platform/infrastructure
Analyse data to find answers to specific questions, identify trends and patterns and/or test hypotheses
Identify the root cause of the data quality issues by interacting with business stakeholders, technology stakeholders and data provider(s)
