Data Engineer

A Data Engineer designs, builds, and manages the infrastructure and systems that enable the efficient storage, processing, and retrieval of large-scale data. They focus on creating robust data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and ensuring data quality and accessibility for analysis. Data Engineers work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to optimize data workflows and implement solutions for scalable, high-performance data operations.   Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing and transforming large datasets. Build and manage data architectures, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes. Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability through effective data governance practices. Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, flat files, and streaming data platforms. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver data solutions that meet their needs. Optimize and enhance data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Implement data security and privacy measures in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring system reliability and minimal downtime. Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and manage data solutions. Develop and maintain documentation for data workflows, systems, and processes.
