Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ), a world-renowned education and poverty-fighting organization based in New York, seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and mission-aligned Data Manager to support our K-12 After-School Programs.
The Data Manager will bring a passion for the mission of Harlem Children’s Zone: breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty through comprehensive, on-the-ground programming that creates opportunities for children and families to thrive in school, work, and life.
We are currently seeking a Data Manager to ensure that all program data is clean, organized, accurate, and compliant with HCZ, Promise Academy, and program guidelines. The ideal candidate has exceptional data management and analytical skills, including strong attention to detail, is familiar with database systems and Microsoft Excel, and is professional, creative, and enthusiastic about working in a community-based organization.

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant professional experience will be considered
2+ years of experience in data management, program administration, reporting, operations, education, youth development, nonprofit, or a related field
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize, analyze, and report on data
Experience working with databases, student information systems, Salesforce, or other data management platforms
Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to maintain data accuracy and integrity
Experience generating reports, analyzing data, and communicating findings to stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience supervising staff, interns, or volunteers preferred
