Tech Partners is recruiting a Database Administrator for a growing financial services organization that depends on high-performing, highly available database systems to support mission-critical business operations.
This is an opportunity for a DBA who enjoys solving performance problems, digging into execution plans, and understanding what is really happening under the hood. You'll join a collaborative Database Services team where Oracle performance tuning is a major focus, while also gaining hands-on experience across SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.

What You'll Be Working On
You'll support a variety of database initiatives across Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL environments, including:
Analyzing and tuning Oracle SQL performance
Reviewing execution plans and identifying optimization opportunities
Supporting Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments
Administering SQL Server instances across on-premises and cloud platforms
Assisting with database upgrades, migrations, and patching activities
Improving indexing strategies and database performance
Contributing to cloud-first database initiatives
Building documentation, operational standards, and runbooks
Partnering with developers to improve application and database efficiency

What We're Looking For
Required
3+ years of database administration experience in a production environment
Experience supporting Oracle databases
Ability to analyze SQL performance and read execution plans
Strong SQL skills
Exposure to SQL Server administration
Experience working in enterprise environments supporting business-critical systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Interest in continuing to develop expertise in database performance tuning
Preferred
Oracle RAC and/or Data Guard experience
SQL Server performance tuning experience
