Summary
Demand Generation Specialist is primarily responsible for planning and executing demand generation initiatives that support customer acquisition, pipeline creation, customer expansion, and sales enablement across B2B, B2C online, and retail channels. As a secondary focus, this role manages social media activities to strengthen engagement and campaign amplification, while supporting PR, external communications, and event execution in alignment with Japan priorities and global marketing plans.

Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibility: Demand Generation & Campaign Execution
Execute marketing campaigns to generate MQLs, SQLs and new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
Run multi-channel programs including digital advertising, social media, email marketing, content syndication and traditional advertising.
Monitor campaign KPIs, lead generation performance and funnel progress, and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure campaign and lead information is regularly updated in CRM.
Primary Responsibility: Content & Marketing Communications for Demand Generation
Develop web content, sales enablement materials, lead magnets, blogs, articles, email copy and campaign assets.
Localize global assets for the Japanese market and coordinate production with internal creative teams or external agencies.
Create clear and accurate messaging for both B2B and B2C audiences.
Apply SEO principles to improve engagement and online visibility.
Secondary Responsibility: Social Media & Digital Communications
Plan, create, publish and manage content across relevant social media platforms.
Execute social media activities linked to campaigns, events and awareness programs.
Monitor comments and simple inquiries, and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams.
Coordinate written, visual and video content production for social channels.
Supporting Responsibility: PR & External Communications
Support the preparation and distribution of press releases, articles, interviews and media materials.
Assist with media communication, press briefings, roundtables and event-related communications.
Maintain consistency of brand voice and messaging across local and global stakeholders.
Monitor brand mentions, keywords, hashtags and media coverage where required.
Supporting Responsibility: Events & Webinars
Execute seminars, webinars, exhibitions, partner events and customer events.
Manage event invitations, attendee tracking, operations, surveys, lead capture, follow-up and performance measurement.
Coordinate with Sales, partners, HQ and external vendors to support event objectives.
Reporting & Improvement
Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on campaign, PR, social media and event performance.
Analyze results and turn findings into improvements for future activities.
Support marketing operations such as budget tracking, PO creation and invoice checks where required.
