Deployment & Safety Manager – Wireless Services

The Deployment & Safety Manager is responsible for leading the Wireless Services safety program while supporting safe and successful project execution. This role works closely with field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, in compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable safety regulations. The Deployment & Safety Manager partners with Operations, Project Managers, Construction Managers, Foremen, subcontractors, and customers to build a culture where safety is part of how work gets done every day. This position supports both operational success and the continued development of a strong safety culture across the organization. Safety Leadership Build and reinforce a culture where every employee is responsible for safety. Lead by example and promote safe work practices across all Wireless Services operations. Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and standard operating practices. Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA regulations, customer requirements, and company safety policies. Support a culture where employees are empowered to stop work when unsafe conditions exist. Field Operations Conduct routine jobsite inspections and field safety audits. Perform field observations and provide coaching on safe work practices. Verify proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), fall protection, climbing equipment, electrical safety practices, and traffic control. Support safe execution of tower climbing, rigging, lifting operations, energized work, and other high-risk activities. Partner with Operations to identify risks early and develop practical solutions. Participate in project planning, mobilization meetings, and safety reviews. Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), rescue plans, lift plans, and other required project documentation. Represent Utilities One during customer safety meetings, audits, and field visits. Training & Development Coordinate and maintain required safety certifications and training records for all field personnel. Conduct safety orientations and recurring safety training.
