We're seeking a dynamic Deposit Operations Lead to oversee our Savings and Current Accounts, ensuring excellence in daily operations, customer interactions, and regulatory compliance. What You'll Do: Operational Management: Lead all aspects of deposit operations from origination to maturity. Develop and implement policies and procedures to boost efficiency and quality. Analyze performance metrics to drive improvements and enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborate with sales, legal, compliance, finance, and risk management teams. Monitor operational risks and develop mitigation strategies. Manage rate changes, product launches, and ensure documentation accuracy. Oversee product forecasting and performance analytics. Compliance and Risk Management: Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and internal policies. Identify and mitigate operational risks in collaboration with the risk management team. Implement effective controls and audit trails for a robust control environment. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, coach, and support a team of deposit operations professionals. Foster a positive team culture and encourage collaboration. Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs for continuous improvement. Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and regulatory bodies. Address customer escalations or complaints promptly and effectively. Technology and Automation: Leverage technology and automation tools to optimize operations. Explore opportunities to streamline processes and enhance customer experience through digital solutions. What We're Looking For: Strong commercial experience in a financial institution or in UK deposits. Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field; professional certifications are a plus. Deep knowledge of deposit operations and payment flows. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
