Senior Depository Services Representative - Trad BBH is currently recruiting a Depositary Services Senior Representative to join our dynamic Depositary Services team. In this key role you will be responsible for the coordination and performance of our Depositary Services Oversight controls (UCITS/AIFMD). In addition, you will assess, analyze, and monitor risks and control issues for the products and services falling under the scope of the Depositary obligations.  You will have a high level of technical acumen and analytical skills in order to foster a solution orientated and consultative approach to performing our Depositary obligations The Senior Representative will be responsible to oversee the minimum standards and practices of the Depositary oversight team are adhered and maters arising are escalated to his/her line supervisor in a timely and efficient manner. Key responsibilities include:   Ensure independent validation checks are carried out to evidence the valuation of Fund assets (NAV) is being performed in all material respects.  Such tasks will include, but not limited to, ensuring team compliance procedures and controls specific to shareholder dealing, security valuations, income and expenses, distributions, corporate actions, including performance fees calculations.  Process improvement and project management Initiate gap analysis on the depositary controls and provide enhancement recommendations Participate in writing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) Ensure that business requirements are met when a new solution is implemented Manage multiple tasks and/or projects efficiently Development Learn new software that becomes available to the department and apply your knowledge to build controls Partner with the relevant internal departments to implement new solutions Problem Resolution Be proactive to propose process enhancements Provide solutions using technologies to complex business problems Maintain an issue log and prioritize each issue based on a RAG status Daily Activities: Review the work performed by the team surrounding due diligence and ongoing monitoring activities and/or directly handle more complex client relationships Monitor the completion of deliverables by team members surrounding the Depositary Continuous Oversight & Monitoring Process. Support the team in determining appropriate resolutions to new regulatory obligations.
