Deputy Manager/Manager - Import Purchase (US Ops)

Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement for the US plant, including sourcing, RFQ/RFP, negotiations, PO management, and supplier follow-up. Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and compliance. Drive cost reduction and value-engineering initiatives through negotiations, alternate sourcing, localization, and supplier development. Develop and maintain spend analysis, supplier performance dashboards, and procurement reports. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, MOQ, warranty, and other commercial conditions to maximize business value. Key Performance Indicators Procurement cost savings / cost avoidance Supplier OTIF and service level Purchase price variance Strategic sourcing and alternate supplier development Qualifications & Experience 6–10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience in international procurement and India–US supply chains will be an advantage. Strong experience in supplier negotiations, cost analysis, sourcing, and vendor Strong stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work across India and US time zones. Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
