Your mission
The R&D Pierre Fabre Medical Care is seeking an experienced Dermatology Project Leader to drive scientific strategies and excellence across innovative dermatology drug discovery programs.
In this role, you will shape early‑stage research and translational strategies and support the progression of novel therapeutic candidates toward early clinical development.
Dermatology is a strategic priority for the Pierre Fabre Group, and this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing pipeline supported by both internal innovation and external partnerships.
The position is based in Toulouse, France, with flexibility for commuting from France/Europe and partial remote work.
Your role within a pioneering company in full expansion:
Lead dermatology drug discovery programs, shaping and implementing research strategies to advance new therapeutics from early discovery through early clinical development within multidisciplinary teams.
Provide scientific team and lab supervision, including mentoring of research associates, overseeing experimental design and execution, and ensuring high standards of quality data and documentation.
Collaborate closely with experts in translational research, drug discovery, clinical development, and data science and PK/Toxicology to ensure effective plan implementation, management of timelines and deliverables, budget oversight, and risk mitigation across preclinical and early clinical phases.
Oversee internal and external resources in partnership with project management and coordinate the preparation and submission of high-quality documentation for reviews and decision-making.
Contribute to the scientific evaluation of external R&D opportunities and partnerships, including academic collaborations, biotech alliances, and in-licensing opportunities.
