The Impact You'll Make
Are you studying engineering and looking for an opportunity to turn what you learn at university into real-world experience? As a Design Engineering Trainee, you’ll join our engineering team and get hands-on exposure to how mechanical products are designed, tested and improved.
You won’t just observe from the sidelines. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to ongoing projects and see how an idea develops from a 3D model and technical drawing into a real product.
Your impact? By supporting design activities, technical documentation and product testing, you’ll help our engineers develop reliable solutions — while building practical engineering skills that will give you a strong foundation for your future career.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Create and update 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software, with guidance from experienced engineers
Support the preparation of design documentation, technical specifications and engineering drawings
Take part in basic engineering analyses, research and feasibility checks, learning how design decisions are made in practice
Support testing and evaluation of mechanical components and systems, helping the team identify opportunities for improvement
Work closely with engineers and other team members on real development projects, while keeping drawings, technical notes and project documentation up to date
What We're Looking For
You are currently studying Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field and want to gain practical experience alongside your studies
You have basic knowledge of 3D CAD software such as Inventor or a similar tool — we don’t expect you to know everything yet
You are curious, proactive and eager to learn, especially when it comes to engineering, design and product development
You enjoy working with others, asking questions and sharing ideas, while being organized and responsible for your own tasks
You are available to work at least 3 days per week, with the possibility to increase your availability later on (after the onboarding period, there is an option to work in a hybrid mode)
What You'll Get from Us
Real hands-on engineering experience — you’ll contribute to actual products and projects rather than only observe how others work
Mentoring and daily support from experienced engineers who will help you develop your technical knowledge and learn how engineering works in practice
The opportunity to strengthen your 3D CAD, technical drawing, product development and problem-solving skills
Experience working in a global engineering environment, collaborating with different specialists and learning from real technical challenges
A friendly and supportive team where you can learn, ask questions and grow, plus subsidized meals in our on-site company canteen
