Role: DevOps / Production Support Engineer Work Result: Production Support & Test Management Skill Area: Data Management & Analytics Technology: Data Science/Analysis, Big Data, Data Lake Key Responsibilities Production Support & Incident Management Operate and support containerized Java/Spring Boot applications across non-production and production environments. Manage and support applications deployed on OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms. Provide L2/L3 production support , ensuring system availability, stability, and performance. Monitor production systems, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA) , and drive timely issue resolution. Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes, including on-call/shift support. Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Database, and other technical teams to resolve production issues. Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, deployment, and integration-related issues. Testing & Quality Assurance Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, system, and production validation testing . Develop and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test data, and test execution reports. Support application deployments across Test, UAT, and Production environments. Identify, troubleshoot, document, and verify defects and fixes. Perform release validation to ensure applications meet quality and operational requirements before production deployment. Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, testing processes, and automation . Deployment & Operational Support Support application releases and deployments across multiple environments. Validate application health and functionality following deployments. Assist with release planning, deployment coordination, and post-release monitoring. Contribute to operational improvements, automation, and process optimization. Required Skills Strong experience in DevOps / Production Application Support . Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerized applications. Good understanding of Java/Spring Boot applications and application troubleshooting. Experience with L2/L3 production support and incident management. Strong knowledge of RCA, problem management, and change management . Experience in functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing . Experience supporting deployments across Test, UAT, and Production environments. Good troubleshooting and analytical skills. Experience working with cross-functional technical teams. Knowledge of CI/CD, deployment processes, monitoring, and release management is preferred. Exposure to Data Lake, Big Data, or Data Analytics environments is an advantage.
