Digital & AI Analyst Industrial Placement  If you want to work on digital projects that directly impact industrial operations, consider a one-year Digital & AI Analyst placement with Phillips 66.  We are looking for a student studying Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline to join our team for a placement commencing in summer 2027.  You will contribute to live projects that use data, automation and artificial intelligence to improve refinery operations. This could include:  Analysing operational data.  Developing dashboards and digital workflows.  Improving data quality and accessibility.  Testing AI solutions and documenting results.  Helping teams turn information into practical decisions.  Identifying opportunities to improve safety, reliability and performance.  You may work with platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and other data and AI technologies. You will also gain exposure to emerging approaches such as agentic AI, using AI to enrich data, summarise information and support business workflows.  Working alongside experienced analysts, engineers and operational teams, you will develop an understanding of how digital solutions are designed, tested and introduced responsibly within a complex industrial environment.  This placement offers practical experience in data analysis, automation, AI adoption and digital transformation. You do not need experience with every technology listed.
