Digital PR & Communication Specialist

Job Context Riseup Labs is looking for an experienced Digital PR & Communication Specialist to build external visibility, credibility and authority for Riseup Labs and its portfolio brands. The role will focus on digital PR, media outreach, expert placements, publications, podcasts, research promotion, partnerships, communities, earned mentions and external review platforms. Job Responsibilities Identify relevant publications, journalists, editors, podcasts and industry platforms. Build and maintain targeted outreach databases. Develop personalized PR and outreach campaigns. Pitch expert commentary, company insights and research. Identify podcast, interview, speaking and media opportunities. Promote original research, reports, case studies and thought leadership. Build relationships with relevant publishers and industry stakeholders. Support industry partnerships and co-marketing. Reclaim relevant unlinked brand mentions. Identify and participate meaningfully in relevant communities. Educational Requirements Bachelor degree in any field. Required Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in Public Relations, digital PR, outreach, media relations, partnerships or related fields. Strong English communication and writing skills. Strong research and prospecting ability. Experience identifying relevant publications and media opportunities. Experience with personalized professional outreach. Basic understanding of SEO and external authority. Tools & Technical Skills Must be proficient in using AI tools for research, prospecting and outreach preparation. Google Search and advanced search techniques. Google Docs and Google Sheets. Familiarity with Semrush, Ahrefs or similar tools. Familiarity with outreach, prospecting or CRM tools. Basic knowledge of Google Analytics/Search Console is an advantage. Soft Skills Excellent English communication. Strong relationship-building ability. Strong research mindset. Creative thinking.
