This role will cover the firm’s four APAC locations (Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Australia) and will provide exposure to senior leaders and strategically important initiatives where there is a need to explore all relevant risk factors. The ideal candidate has an expert understanding of enterprise risk frameworks and regulation, operational risk best practices in investment management and operational resilience concepts, is solution-oriented and able to partner strategically with senior leaders, offering credible challenge and risk insights. A data-driven mindset and the ability to form relationships across the organization is key, as the role will engage across a set of global stakeholders in addition to local colleagues. This role will be appointed as the Manager-In-Charge for 2nd line Risk Management in Hong Kong and Senior Manager under IAC in Singapore. This role will report to the Head of Business Risk EMEA & APAC and will lead a small APAC team. ROLE SUMMARY Responsible for ensuring that the APAC region adheres to the relevant risk management policies and practices, working with APAC stakeholders regarding the management of business risks including operational risk event management on a consultative basis.
