Director, Controller & Tax LATAM

Reports to: VP Finance, Food & Industrial Ingredients LATAM
Direct reports: 6 managers

As a Director, Controller & Tax LATAM , you will lead the Controllership, Tax, and Internal Controls functions across the region, ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective governance. Working closely with business and finance leaders, you will provide strategic insights that support decision-making, drive operational excellence, and enable sustainable growth across Latin America
As part of our team, your contributions will be:
Lead the Controllership, Tax, and Internal Controls agenda across LATAM, ensuring strong governance and financial stewardship.
Oversee financial reporting, accounting compliance, audits, and closing processes while maintaining adherence to US GAAP and local regulations.
Drive tax strategy, compliance, transfer pricing governance, and tax optimization initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
Partner with business leaders on strategic projects, investments, acquisitions, business transformations, and growth initiatives.
Build high-performing teams and strengthen a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Your profile needs these qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with Certified Public Accountant credentials.
Experience in Controllership, Accounting, Tax, Financial Reporting, and/or Internal Controls within multinational organizations.
Strong experience with financial reporting, corporate governance, internal controls, and audit processes in large U.S.-based companies.
Proven experience leading regional teams and managing complex initiatives in a matrix environment.
Fluent English is a must have to interact with regional and global stakeholders
Spanish Speaker is desirable
