Overview Responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, performance tuning and recovery of our ITSecurity infrastructure, posture and supporting infrastructure. Serve as a hands-on technical expert, Sr. Architectand mentor in IT Security. ***Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship. Responsibilities Lead, coach and manage the performance of a team of IT Security professionals responsible for monitoring, detecting and responding to threats. Proven ability to analyze and investigate security alerts, determine the scope and impact of security events, and articulate risks, root causes, and mitigation strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Perform hands-on configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of security systems, which may include firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and endpoint detection and response (EDR). Proven ability to lead security architecture initiatives for network security, data protection, identity and access management, and cloud computing. Maintain alignment with architecture and compliance frameworks, including CIS, CCPA, HIPAA, and NYDFS. Develop, document, implement and report on security architecture policies, standards, and best practices. Keep up to date with cybersecurity landscape, emerging threats, evaluating and recommending new technologies Document and communicate security architecture decisions and strategies effectively Drive deployment of new platforms, technologies and features to meet lifecycle management and business requirements. Recognized as a technical expert and a mentor to engineering teams on frameworks, tools and technologies. Perform other duties as assigned. Education Bachelor’s Degree in work related field or discipline preferred.
