Director, Developer Relations

About The Role At Nscale, we're on a mission to build the engine of superintelligence, and developers are at the center of how that future gets built. We're looking for a Director of Developer Relations to lead and build how developers discover, learn, build, and scale on Nscale's AI infrastructure platform. This role will own and build the global developer relations strategy, from technical content and community engagement to developer experience feedback loops and ecosystem growth, ensuring developers can successfully build and deploy AI workloads on Nscale, starting in the US and expanding into EMEA and APAC as the function grows. You'll lead programs that connect Nscale's engineering and product teams with the global developer community, turning powerful infrastructure capabilities into approachable demos, learning paths, hands-on examples, and engaging developer experiences - setting the direction yourself and, over time, building and leading the team that helps carry it out. This role sits on the Product Marketing team and focuses on three core pillars: Technical storytelling & community engagement: Creating content, demos, and events that help developers understand and adopt Nscale's AI infrastructure platform. Developer adoption & ecosystem growth: Expanding the global community of developers building on Nscale infrastructure through education, advocacy, and partnerships. Developer experience & product feedback: Acting as the voice of the developer internally, identifying friction in onboarding, documentation, services, and tooling. You'll have the autonomy to build the foundations of a modern DevRel function from the ground up - defining the programs, developer journeys, and eventually the team that make Nscale the platform developers choose to build the next generation of AI on. At Nscale, innovation isn't just encouraged - it's expected. What You'll Do Own and lead the global developer relations strategy. Define how Nscale engages developers across content, community, events, and education to drive platform adoption, starting in the US with a roadmap into EMEA and APAC. Drive developer adoption. Set the strategy behind and create self-serve content that supports every stage of the developer journey, from discovery and evaluation to building and deploying AI workloads on Nscale. Build and oversee a developer content engine. Direct the creation of high-quality technical resources, including documentation improvements, code samples, demos, tutorials, notebooks, blog posts, and videos, and do hands-on execution yourself until the team is in place. Represent Nscale in the developer ecosystem. Speak at developer conferences, meetups, and hackathons (including events like PyTorch and Ray Summit); build strong relationships with open-source communities, AI-native companies, and the broader AI research community as a credible, recognized voice.
