Who we are Help us shape the future of photography. Capture One gives professional photographers the tools to capture, edit and collaborate at the highest standard - powering the shoots behind fashion covers, global campaigns and the artists and brands you know. Our software is trusted by a community of more than 250,000 photographers worldwide Born out of a passion for photography, Capture One has been built on more than 25 years of imaging expertise. Our software is known for the fastest tethered shooting in the industry, support for more than 600 camera and lens profiles, and true-to-life color processing that professionals trust for their most demanding work. We are headquartered in Copenhagen with hubs in London, New York and Athens. Our team spans engineers, colorists, product thinkers and photographers who care deeply about the craft they build for, and we are growing across every part of the business. The role We are creating a new Director of Strategy & Operations role to sit on the Marketing Leadership Team. The role brings together two disciplines: Strategy - deciding what matters, and Operations - making the organization act on it. You will report to the VP Marketing and work closely with the Marketing Leadership Team and with counterparts in Product, Sales, Partnerships, Training, Finance and Data. Occasional travel to our London, New York, Athens hubs as well as key industry events is expected. What you'll own Marketing strategy. Translate company objectives, customer evidence and market signals into a clear marketing direction with explicit priorities and non-priorities. The operating model. The planning rhythm, the priority set, the portfolio view, and the mechanism that turns decisions into action. You design it, you own it, you improve it. The stack. The strategic case for what marketing technology, measurement and workflow investment we make, consolidate or retire. Partnership with the VP. Focused strategic support on the decisions and moments that matter most — not administrative deputy work. What success looks like in your first year Strategy visibly governs where money and people go. Fewer, better bets. A stop-list is executed, not just proposed. The planning cycle runs on rails, without the VP driving it. Marketing leadership argues from one shared evidence base. Operating friction is measurably lower; the stack is rationalized, not accumulated. Who you are Senior operator with 6-8 years of experience and a track record in strategy, marketing operations, chief-of-staff or a comparable seat at a scaling software…
