This leader directs multiple teams through subordinate managers and senior technical leaders, with responsibility for laboratory applications, instrument and endpoint technology services, business analysis, software development, portfolio governance, service delivery, vendor management, technology lifecycle planning, and laboratory technology risk management. The Director partners with Research, Development, Quality, Manufacturing, Information Security, Validation, and other business and IT functions to translate scientific and operational needs into practical strategies, multi-year roadmaps, prioritized investments, and reliable solutions. The role is approximately 75% strategic and 25% operational and requires a leader who can build a high-performing organization, establish scalable processes, challenge architecture decisions, and selectively advance automation, AI, and digital laboratory capabilities based on validated business need. The Position Sarepta is seeking a strategic, business-oriented technology leader to direct the Scientific Technology and Laboratory Systems organization. This role is accountable for the performance and evolution of the processes, people, platforms, and services that enable laboratory operations across the company.
