As a leader within Campbell’s Corporate Food Safety & Quality organization, the Director, Chemical Safety, Toxicology and Analytical Chemistry is responsible for providing enterprise leadership, strategy, technical governance, and subject matter expertise for chemical safety, food toxicology, ingredient safety, and analytical chemistry across Campbell’s commercialization, manufacturing network, laboratories and supply base. This role serves as Campbell’s senior technical authority for chemical hazard identification, toxicological risk evaluation, ingredient and packaging safety, and science-based decision-making. The position partners closely with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, Supplier Quality, Operations, Legal, Packaging, Quality, and external technical experts to protect consumers and the Brand, maintain regulatory compliance, and proactively mitigate risk. What you will do... •    Develop and execute the enterprise strategy for chemical safety and food toxicology, including standards, policies, risk-based decision criteria, and technical governance for chemical contaminants, ingredients, processing-related hazards, packaging and food contact materials, and analytical testing. •    Serve as the company’s subject matter expert for toxicological risk assessment, chemical hazard evaluation, exposure assessment, and interpretation of scientific literature, regulatory guidance, supplier data, analytical results, and external expert opinions. •    Provide chemical safety review and approval for ingredients and food contact materials through Campbell’s commercialization and ingredient approval…
