What You'll Do
Support strategic initiatives focused on improving the efficiency, consistency, and visibility of property operations across a large national retail portfolio.
Analyze property management, facilities, and vendor performance data to identify trends, operational opportunities, and cost-saving recommendations.
Assist with the development and maintenance of reporting tools, dashboards, and process documentation supporting property management activities.
Partner with cross-functional teams including Facilities, Real Estate, Construction, Procurement, Finance, Risk Management, and field operations to support business initiatives.
Complete a summer-long project with measurable business impact and present findings and recommendations to Property Management leadership.
Learning Opportunities
The internship will provide hands-on exposure to the management of a large, geographically dispersed retail portfolio and demonstrate how Property Management intersects with Facilities, Real Estate, Construction, Finance, Risk Management, Procurement, and field operations. The intern will have opportunities to analyze real business problems, collaborate with cross-functional partners, develop recommendations, and present findings to Property Management leadership. The goal is for the intern to leave the summer having completed a meaningful project that can be implemented or used by the business, not simply having observed the function.
