Description: The Document Control Administrator provides administrative support to the office and leadership team, ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of office functions and documentation systems. This role is responsible for overseeing office administration activities, maintaining accurate records, and managing document control processes to ensure information is organized, current, and accessible.
The Document Control Administrator plays a key role in supporting effective communication between office staff, field teams, and leadership, while ensuring office operations and documentation practices remain organized, responsive, and aligned with Michels Canada standards.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Provide administrative support to the Director and leadership team, ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations and alignment of administrative priorities.
Oversee general office administration, including correspondence, filing systems, records management, time submissions, and maintaining organized and accurate documentation.
Own and manage document control processes for the office, including setting up, maintaining, and improving electronic and hard-copy filing systems in alignment with company standards.
Receive, track, organize, and maintain internal and external documentation, including project-related records, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and proper version control.
Act as the central point of contact for internal documentation and office communication, supporting information flow between office staff, field teams, and leadership.
