We are looking for an experienced Document Controller with strong project documentation experience across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage design and pre-contract activities through construction, project delivery , and close-out/handover. The role requires a candidate who can manage, organize, validate, track, and maintain project records in a structured and controlled manner, ensuring that documentation remains accurate, complete, traceable, and accessible throughout each project stage. Candidate Experience Requirement The candidate should have proven hands-on experience in document control within construction, development, engineering, or real estate projects, with the ability to support multiple project teams and maintain effective control over project information. Key Responsibilities Maintain controlled project documentation in line with agreed procedures, naming conventions, revision control, and approval workflows. Support document management activities across design, commercial, construction, quality, commissioning, and close-out stages. Coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders to ensure timely submission, review, distribution, and retrieval of project information. Review documentation for completeness, correct status, version control, traceability, and alignment with project requirements. Support document migration, records clean-up, reporting, archiving, and project handover readiness activities. Required Document Control Experience Strong experience managing project documentation across the full project lifecycle, including pre-contract, post-contract, commercial, construction/site execution, and close-out stages. Pre-contract experience covering concept, feasibility, design development, tender preparation, tender addenda, clarifications, submissions, and controlled issue of tender documentation to support procurement and appointment activities. Post-contract experience supporting the controlled transition of documentation from issued-for-tender and contract documentation through issued-for-construction information, ensuring correct revision control, distribution, superseding, and traceability. Experience managing documentation during site activities, including design updates, technical submissions, correspondences, approvals, inspections, quality records, progress-related records, and construction-stage document workflows. Commercial document control experience, including controlled handling of tender/commercial submissions, contract documents, variations, claims, payment-related records, cost-related correspondence, procurement records, and supporting documentation for commercial review and audit purposes.
