Level 3T – Bulk Tanker Driver £38,000.52 + Potential annual bonus of £2,100 + £25 daily tanker rate + competitive overtime rates
Duties
We have an exciting opportunity for a driver to join our Bulk Tanker Fleet in Middlesbrough.
We're on the lookout for HGV bulk tanker drivers (ideally with ADR) to step into our driving roles to help keep our business moving and our retail customers happy to ensure the chemicals and ingredients used in everyday products, get safely to our customers, helping keep our communities healthy, fed, clean and safe.
We offer different levels of role depending on preference, the more flexibility, the higher salary potential, all based off a 48 hour average working week over a 26 week reference period.
Our trucks are all DAF fully automatic vehicles and benefit from everything you need whilst you’re out on the road. They are fitted with adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, air-conditioning, fridges and a whole host of latest safety technology to aid you in your day, with a new rigid fleet on order for 2027 and tractor units replaced every 4 years.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Driving duties:-
Ensure adequate load security at all times.
Comply with legal and company vehicle segregation rules.
To ensure tachograph modes are used correctly.
To ensure the correct HPD/LPD Operations are always observed.
To check the accuracy of the load before commencement of deliveries
To utilise the correct PPE and manual handling equipment
Accurately record information regarding delivery and collection on the correct company paperwork
Safely deliver/collect goods at customers/supplier’s premises.
Driver in a safe and appropriate manner at all times
Report all accidents, incidents or near misses to the relevant personnel and to carry out driver’s daily vehicle checks and report defects via daily defect report procedure. Ensure that notified defects are rectified.
Assist with the training of new personnel as requested by line management.
Ensure that the vehicle first aid kit, fire extinguisher and spill kit is maintained & serviceable.
