Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to supervise and execute electrical and instrumentation installation activities on a large-scale construction project. The successful candidate will ensure all installation works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements. The E&I Engineer will work closely with construction, engineering, QA/QC, commissioning teams, and subcontractors to ensure proper installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and timely project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Supervise electrical installation activities, including medium- and low-voltage systems, transformers, switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), distribution panels, UPS systems, and associated power infrastructure. Monitor cable tray installation, cable pulling, glanding, termination, and testing activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures and quality requirements. Ensure proper installation of earthing and grounding systems, lightning protection systems, and hazardous-area electrical equipment where applicable. Supervise the installation of field instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters, control valves, analyzers, junction boxes, and marshalling cabinets. Oversee instrument tubing installation, impulse lines, supports, tagging, and identification in accordance with engineering drawings. Support loop checking, calibration, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities in coordination with project teams. Review and interpret technical documentation, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, and layout drawings to ensure accurate site execution. Coordinate with construction, engineering, QA/QC, and subcontractor teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project progress. Ensure all installation activities comply with project specifications, applicable international standards, and quality requirements. Participate in inspections, support punch list clearance, manage technical queries, and maintain accurate installation and as-built documentation. Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing HSE procedures, participating in risk assessments and toolbox talks, and ensuring safe work practices on site. Monitor daily progress, prepare status updates, and support timely completion of project milestones. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related discipline. 7–10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation installation on large-scale construction projects.
