The role emphasizes power distribution system design, implementation, and maintenance, alongside integration and support of control systems to ensure reliable and efficient plant operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Capital Project Management Lead the design, planning, and execution of power distribution systems for large capital projects, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and business goals. Project Leadership Act as the Electrical Project Lead, developing project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Power Distribution Expertise Design and specify medium and low voltage power distribution equipment, switchgear, transformers, motor control centers (MCCs), and protective relaying systems. Controls Integration Collaborate with controls engineers to integrate power distribution equipment and protective relays with PLCs, HMIs, DCSs, and SCADA systems for monitoring and control. Provide technical input on control system architecture related to power distribution. Technical Oversight Prepare technical specifications, review vendor proposals, and recommend equipment and system designs that optimize reliability, maintainability, and safety. Field Support and Troubleshooting Oversee installation and commissioning of power distribution and control systems.
