100% Employee-Owned · Big-firm resources, local-team relationships, ONE IMEG culture IMEG is hiring an Electrical Project Designer in Rogers, Arkansas, to lead design efforts as a project manager or lead engineer for low to moderate complexity projects and collaborate with senior staff on larger and high complexity projects. This role focuses on the engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems for buildings while working closely with a team of engineers and consultants to provide engineering solutions and advice to clients. This position is expected to work within the project’s monetary budget, train and mentor staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations. The team supports industrial, manufacturing, and MEP markets, advancing high-performance, energy-efficient design aligned with MEP2050 and AIA2030. At a Glance Location: Rogers, AR; other IMEG locations may be considered Discipline: Electrical Markets: Industrial; Manufacturing; MEP Ownership: 100% employee-owned (ESOP) Travel: Up to 10% Work Schedule: Full-time in office, potential for hybrid schedule Sponsorship: Not available What You'll Do Lead design efforts for the analysis of electrical systems, using engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards. Interact with clients to understand their needs, gather project requirements, communicate technical information effectively, and build and maintain client relationships through professional communication. Support the execution of consulting projects and lead project planning, budgeting, and scheduling tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives. Document design decisions and instructions from clients while monitoring project design progress related to percent complete and fee expended. Analyze engineering problems and collaborate with senior engineers and consultants to develop practical and efficient solutions. Provide in-process design reviews of electrical system design, calculations, and specifications. Implement IMEG quality control processes to ensure engineering designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards, and client requirements. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering, and contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG. Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work and identify and mitigate potential safety risks associated with electrical systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals.
