As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will take ownership of the assembly, integration, and testing of rack-based hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation systems. You will work from electrical schematics, system layouts, assembly instructions, and test plans to build and deliver complete systems to customers. The role involves practical work with 19’’ rack cabinets, electrical and mechanical components, cabling, instrumentation, and real-time simulation hardware. Most of your time will be spent working directly with equipment rather than behind a desk. Responsibilities You will: Assemble and integrate standard 24U, 38U, and 42U rack systems, including frames, doors, side panels, electrical components, and mechanical hardware. Document test results, complete test reports, and maintain project documentation. Prepare completed systems for shipment, including final inspection, packaging, and logistics coordination. Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT) with customers and internal project teams. Support onsite installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer training. Source locally required components, request quotations, place purchase orders, and monitor supplier deliveries. Monitor supplier quality and coordinate the resolution of nonconformities. Manage local stock and perform regular inventory checks. Review project deliverables, including quality records, documentation, and test results. Maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, partners, and internal teams. Identify opportunities to improve assembly, testing, documentation, and integration processes. Coordinate closely with project management, systems engineering, production, and the HIL  Systems teams to understand project-specific requirements and constraints. Help prioritize work assignments and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workplace. What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or an associate degree combined with equivalent practical work experience.
