About The Opportunity
As an Electrical Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping our manufacturing operation running smoothly. You'll troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, and production equipment while performing preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability. You'll help drive safety, efficiency, and operational excellence throughout the facility. Essential Functions:
Ensure operation of machinery and electrical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
Work with production personnel to troubleshoot electrical issues
Work in conjunction with outside contractors and/or vendors as well as OEM’s to troubleshoot and make repairs to plant equipment
Locate sources of problems by observing machines in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments
Perform electrical troubleshooting using the proper tools and PPE
Control downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance techniques
Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
Use computer system to document work and account for parts
Communicate with the team using verbal, written or electronic communication including phone, email, radio, or other
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Successful completion of a 16-month course at an accredited university required
Work Experience
Corrugated manufacturing and converting experience preferred

Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
