We're seeking technicians who are confident in a fast-paced emergency environment and passionate about providing exceptional care to patients and the people who love them. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you'll work closely with our veterinarians and support team to provide compassionate, timely care to emergency and hospitalized patients. You'll: • Provide attentive nursing care to emergency and hospitalized patients. • Monitor patients closely and promptly communicate changes in patient condition to the veterinary team. • Assist veterinarians with the care and treatment of emergency patients. • Help prioritize patient-care needs as emergencies arrive and hospitalized patients require ongoing care. • Maintain accurate and organized patient information and communicate effectively with the medical team. • Work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and other hospital team members during busy and rapidly changing situations. • Communicate with compassion and professionalism when supporting pet parents during stressful, emotional, and difficult situations. • Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, cleanliness, and organization. • Use your existing emergency skills while continuing to learn and develop professionally.
